This is a story of two friends who were walking through a desert. At a particular place they had an argument, one friend slapped the other. The boy slapped was hurt but without saying anything he wrote on sand “today my best friend slapped me”. They continued walking, until they found an oasis, where they decided to take bath. The one who was slapped started drowning but other friend saved me.
When he recovered he wrote on a stone “today my best friend saved my life”. The other friend asked him “why, after I hurt you, did you write on sand and now you have written on a stone?”. The other friend smiled and replied; when a friend hurts us, we should write it down where the winds of forgiveness take charge and erase, but when something great happens, we should engrave it on a stone in the memory of the heart where no wind can erase it…
